Q: My Card Export II works fine but sometimes it says that "Wrong usb status returned by underlying driver". How can I fix this?

A: Just do not use cracked or patched versions. If you like Card Export II, consider purchasing it. Card Export II costs only $14.95. After receiving unlock code, remove your patched version from your handheld and install fresh version from our web site. After that register it using unlock code you have received from Softick.

Q: My windows explorer does not show card. The device manager shows the USB connection is OK and the device is working properly.

A: It looks like a drive letter conflict. To resolve: 1. Firstly connect Card Export II 2. Please open Computer Management console (Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administative Tools -> Computer Management) 3. Select "Disk Management". 4. Select Card Export II exported card at the right pane 5. Right mouse click and select "Change Drive Letter and Path". 6. Assign unused drive letter for the Card Export device. Hope this helps

Q: I'm using Tapwave Zodiac 2 with Card Exoport II v. 2.02, but when I try to connect to my PC I get Error code 10 (Cannot start device) in Windows Device Manager. How can I make Card Export to work?

A: This is a known problem in Softick Card Export II v 2.02 on Tapwave Zodiac with 1.1 ROM Update. It was fixed in Softick Card Export II v. 2.03. Please download newer version.

Q: Linux: I'm trying Softick Card Export II on Linux but files accessing is quite slow. Can I speed up access?

A: Yes, you can. Try to mount Card Export volume with noatime option. This would disable inode atime update and serious speed up files transfer.

Q: My card is visible in Windows Explorer, but it is write protected. Why?

A: Please download latest CardExport release version from our download page. May be your version is old or damaged. We have some reports that described error message was noticed with incorrectly registered or hacked versions of CardExport. Be aware of using illegal versions due to possibility of civil and criminal penalties. There are known problems with Multiuser Palm OS hacks which allows to switch between different Hotsync user names for particular programs. In some cases this problem do not disappear even after installing correct version and in these cases problem could be fixed only after product registration.
