USB Problems
First of all ensure that you are using latest Palm Desktop software. Versions before 4.1 have
USB driver related problems.
If you use Sony Clie handheld make sure that you set "Exclusive USB" mode. Only few Sony Clie models
can be used in Shared USB mode without problems.
Update motherboard drivers. Some motherboards have flacky USB chipsets which could prevent Softick
PPP from working properly. A great resource for USB related problems is http://www.usbman.com/
Enable debug log
Open Softick PPP Configuration dialog, Audit page and enable debug log. If you cannot figure out what
is causing problem you can send it to our support team. (Please zip it before sending)
Network problems
Most network problems is due incorrect DNS settings. Consult your system administrator for correct
DNS server addresses and check them in Palm Network Log.
Enable packet sniffer
If you expirience network problems you can enable packet sniffer and analyze log by using free
WinDump/WinPCap program. This especially usefull if you debugging your own application.
