Installing native applications to Apple iPhone and iPod Touch

As you may already know, Apple has disabled third party applications installation to iPhone and iPod Touch until offical release of developer's SDK. Unfortunately at time of writing this SDK was unavailable and the only way to install third party applications is using AppTapp Installer.app. The process of enabling third party application installation to the iPhone or iPod Touch is often called jailbreak. Generally you need to jailbreak your device once and after that you may install new applications which will further enchance your device.

The easiest way to install Softick Application to your iPhone is to use Installer.app. If this applet is already installed, you can add the Softick Solitaire installation source and skip the following.

Is it safe to jailbreak?

While jailbreak procedure is widely used in Apple iPhone community and considered safe you need to understand that you perform this action at your own risk. Currently you can always use iTunes "Restore" function to return your phone or player to the original state and disable any third party application.

Warning

There is a usual warning to install software only from sources you trust.
