Softick Blue Files with BlueZ on your Linux OS

Before using Softick Blue Files with BlueZ (Official Linux Bluetooth Protocol Stack) on your Linux OS make sure that your Palm powered device:

• Can be discovered by desktop computer
• Paired with desktop computer

To access to your Palm files and folders via Bluetooth, firstly launch Softick Blue Files on your handheld from your favorite program launcher.

Next run your Web Browser (Konqueror in KDE). In Location field type 'bluetooth:/' and press Enter.

After device scan is complete click on your Palm device to perform available services inquiry.

Next click on File Transfer Icon to access your files via Bluetooth.

Now you can copy and paste files and folders from your Web Browser to your Palm and vice versa using context menu or Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V keyboard shortcuts.

You can also create new folders on Palm powered device.

Note: rename files and folders are not supported.
